Tolland Man Charged With Sex Offender Registry Violation
A Tolland resident has been charged with failing to confirm his address as a sex offender, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — A Tolland resident convicted in 1999 of what state police said was a violent sexual assault has been charged with failing to register as an offender.
Neal Maneeley, 62, was arrested via a warrant on Jan. 17, according to state police records. He was charged with failing to register as a sex offender after a violent incident (third-degree sexual assault), according to an arrest report.
A warrant states that he registered on Oct. 28, 1999.

A Tolland Stage Road address (1200 block) was supplied by him in 2001, according to a warrant.
In 2023, however, Maneeley failed to return an address confirmation form that eventually turned into a notice of violation, according to a warrant.
