Arrest Made In Connection With Wild Highway Ramp U-Turn In Vernon: Warrant
A Vernon woman has been charged in connection with a state police pursuit seven months ago.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon woman has been charged in connection with a state police pursuit seven months ago.
Donna Mosley, 33, of Vernon, was served a warrant on Dec. 27 charging her with driving without the proper insurance, driving while under suspension, engaging police in a pursuit, improper passing, failure to maintain the proper lane and a stop sign violation.
The case dates back to 1 p.m. on June 16, when a state trooper encountered an "older model" Honda Accord with heavy window tint and very bright LED tail lights, according to a warrant. A query showed that the registration had been suspended and the vehicle was not insured, according to a warrant.

As the Honda approached the Exit 66 westbound off-ramp on Interstate 84, a trooper activated the cruiser's emergency lights, but the Honda exited the highway, blew through a stop sing and then made a U-turn to get back onto the highway heading west, according to a warrant.
The Honda sped across three lanes and began passing other vehicles at a high rate of speed and the pursuit was called off, according to a warrant.

The Honda was eventually traced to Mosley, state police said.
