Morning Coffee Goes Down Wrong Way After Altercation At Vernon Cumbys: Police
A woman has been charged after a cup of coffee went flying at a Vernon store, police said.

VERNON, CT — The morning coffee went down the wrong way for a Willington woman last week in Vernon.
Vernon police this week released details of the Dec. 28 incident.
At 5:47 a.m. that day, police were dispatched to the Hartford Turnpike Cumberland Farms store for an altercation. According to an arrest report, the woman is accused of getting into an argument with staff members and then hurling a cup of coffee at one of them.

She was promptly arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, police said. She was expected in court Tuesday, records show.
