Skating Rink Back For Another Winter At Henry Park In Vernon

VERNON, CT — The wintertime skating rink is back up at Henry Park in Vernon.

Crews from the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department spent Tuesday and Wednesday installing the framework and base of the rink to the tennis courts at the park.

The rink will open for public use once there has been sustained cold weather and the ice is deemed safe, town officials said.
