VERNON, CT — A 19-year-old Vernon resident spend the weekend in the lockup on a high bond after a stabbing incident involving a juvenile, police said.

According to an arrest report, at 9:53 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a home on Pleasant Street for a reported disturbance and, when they arrived, they located a boy walking in the area with multiple stab wounds.

Cordaryl Luis Ronald Diaz was then identified as an aggressor in the disturbance and the one responsible for the stabbing, according to an arrest report.

He was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct and held on a $200,000 bond, records show. Diaz was to appear in Rockville Superior Court Monday, police said.

The extent of the boy's injuries was not outlined in an arrest report.
