Vernon DPW To Collect Trees After The Holidays

VERNON, CT — Christmas trees will be collected by the Vernon Department of Public Works during the first two full weeks in January, weather-permitting.

In addition, the Vernon Transfer Station will be accepting Christmas trees for disposal during the entire month of January, with no permit or punch card required.

Decorations, tinsel and plastic bags must be removed.
