WALLINGFORD, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $1.5 million was recently sold in Wallingford, according to the Connecticut Lottery. The winning ticket, which was split by two winners – a Wallingford resident and a Wethersfield resident, was claimed on Monday, Oct. 28, according to Lottery officials. The big win came on a $2,000,000 Jackpot scratch ticket that was sold at Wallingford Food Land at 250 South Colony Road in Wallingford. The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners' full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
