Fire Temporarily Closes Pizzeria In Wallingford

The owners said they are "going to work relentlessly" to reopen the restaurant.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A fire has temporarily closed Inferno Apizza in Wallingford, the owners announced Saturday.

“Fortunately everyone is Safe and no one has been hurt or injured,” the owners wrote in a post on Facebook. “We will be closed until further notice. We appreciate all of your support and prayers. We are so grateful to be part of such an amazing community and a HUGE thank you to the first responders for their efforts and dedication. We are going to work relentlessly to get back open for our community. Enjoy your weekend.”

Inferno Apizza has been receiving rave reviews on social media after moving from North Haven and opening at 628 South Colony Rd. in Wallingford.
