Popular Restaurant Expanding In Wallingford

The popular eatery is expanding its space in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Popular Italian eatery Michael’s Trattoria is expanding its space in downtown Wallingford.

Michael’s Trattoria is taking over the former home of The Dressing Room, located in the same building next to the restaurant on Center Street, for its expansion, according to the Record-Journal.

The Dressing Room closed its Center Street location and reopened last October as The Dressing Room Haus in a historic Victorian home at nearby 7 South Elm St.

Michael’s Trattoria owner Michael Tiscia told the Record-Journal he is planning on adding a couple of dining rooms in the corner and enlarging the kitchen area in the expansion. He’s hoping to have the project completed in three months, according to the Record-Journal.
