Alice, always devoted to her family, loved sports, worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and was involved in numerous local organizations.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Alice Josephine (Goodrich) White, 85 of Fullerton, CA and formerly of Wallingford, left this world peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Silverado Memory Care, Brea, CA. Alice’s first job was an accounts payable clerk with Masonicare, and a dental assistant with Dr. Biega in Wallingford.
Alice met her late husband Ed while working at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Hartford, Connecticut. After marriage, they settled down in Marlborough, CT where she worked at George Denler Realty. Alice was a devoted mother to her children, a Cub Scout and Brownies leader, and participated in a women’s softball league.

Alice loved sports and coached her daughter’s softball team.

In her spare time, Alice followed eagle nest cams, took long walks with her dog Taffy, listened to Irish music, danced the polka like no other, followed her favorite football teams, the Carolina Panthers and the Miami Dolphins, assisted with the construction of a dog park, created the first Goodrich Family Directory, scrapbooked, and read historical novels.
Alice looked forward to the opportunity to hold a baby in her arms, had an open heart and an outstretched hand to help those in need, and was devoted to the care of her husband while he battled cancer for 10 years.
