Obituary: Dennie Edward Conway, 88, of Wallingford
Dennie was known for his quick wit, the gift of storytelling, love of the Boston Red Sox and devotion to family and friends.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Dennie Edward Conway, 88, of Wallingford, died peacefully on May 26, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife of 58 years, Kathleen, and his children by his side.
Besides his wife Kathleen, Dennie is survived by his children and their spouses Moira and Patrick McCullough, Amy Conway-Hatcher and Sid Hatcher, Megan and Joseph Romano, and Chris Conway and Stacie Jeong; and his ten beloved grandchildren Mark, Megan, and James McCullough; Olivia and Jack Hatcher; Will, Nina, and Francesca Romano; Samuel and Maxwell Conway.
Dennie was born in West Medford, Massachusetts on April 20, 1934 to Dennis Edward and Ruth Ahern. He was a graduate of Boston College High School and the College of The Holy Cross.
Commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1957, he was honorably discharged in 1960 and later pursued a career in sales and stock brokerage services.
In addition to his devotion and love for family, Dennie enjoyed playing golf, tennis, card games, skiing, and hosting gatherings of friends.
He had a quick wit, a gift for storytelling, and was an avid, lifetime fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Dennie was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Walter Conway.
Services will be held on August 4, 2022, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Osterville, Massachusetts.
