Obituary: Helen (del los Reyes) Marquis, 67, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Helen (del los Reyes) Marquis, 67, of Wallingford, beloved mother, grandmother, aunty and friend, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Midstate Medical Center Meriden.

Helen was born in Placer Masbate Philippines, June 13, 1954, a daughter of the late Falaviano de los Reyes and Melania (Sismo-an) de los Reyes. She was employed for 20 years with Component Engineers Inc., Wallingford, as a Secondary Operations Operator & Inspector prior to retiring this past December.

Always the type to give more than she received, Helen was truly one of a kind.

She loved spending time with her children and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, playing mahjong with her friends, and was well known for her famous egg rolls.

She is survived by her two sons, Vincent and his wife Raleigh Marquis Jr. of Holiday Florida; Jeff and his wife Michelle Marquis of Cocoa Beach Florida, two daughters, Jennifer (Marquis) and her husband Paul Hushin of Southington; Lisa (Marquis) and her husband Peter deAquino of Lahaina Maui Hawaii, and her grandchildren Jonah, Sam, Kaleo and Axel.

In addition to her immediate family were her lifelong sisters Lydia Chagnon, Linda Thiel, Cora Hopkins, Rose Maloney and Josie Azurin and their families, her former husband Vincent Marquis and his family, several nieces and nephews and so many more friends who were very dear to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10th, 12pm-5pm at PNA Park in Wallingford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations to the https://cjdfoundation.org/donate in honor of Helen Marquis would be greatly appreciated.
