Obituary: Maryann Sittnick Scott, 73, of Wallingford
Maryann, always surrounded by friends and family, was a devoted homemaker, loving mother, sister and wife.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Maryann Sittnick Scott, 73, of Wallingford, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, a MidState Medical Center.
She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth R. Scott Jr.
Maryann was born in Bridgeport, August 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Raymond F. Sittnick Sr. and Vilma M. (Csizmar) Sittnick and was a 1966 graduate of Lyman Hall H.S.
She was a homemaker, loving mother, sister and wife.
Maryann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Matthew G. Knowlton and his wife Lisa of Meriden; her grandchildren, Joshua Knowlton and his wife Chelbi, Chelsey Knowlton and her partner Jesse and Austin Knowlton; her brother Frank Sittnick; her sisters, Linda Sittnick, and Laura Yocum and her husband John; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Jr. and James.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 4th, at 11:30 am at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gift in her memory may be sent to White Oaks Baptist Church, 120 Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410.
