Obituary: Shirley Koenigsberg Rudolph, 90, formerly of Wallingford

Shirley was a past member of the Wallingford Garden Club, St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Wallingford Chorus.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Shirley Koenigsberg Rudolph, 90, of Centerbrook, CT, formerly of Wallingford, CT, passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Donald C. Rudolph.

Shirley was born in New Haven, July 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Blackler) Koenigsberg. Shirley was a past member of the Wallingford Garden Club.

She also was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Shirley enjoyed singing and was a member of the church’s choir and the Wallingford Chorus. She loved gardening and baking.

She is survived by her children, Donald C. Rudolph and his wife Mary of Boseman, MT, Susan R. Schuster and her husband James of Centerbrook, CT, and Brian E. Rudolph and his wife Janet of Glendale, AZ; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael W. Rudolph and her brother, Frank Koenigsberg.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, June 3rd at 10am, directly at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 65 N. Main St., Wallingford. Masks are required.

Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park in Hamden.
