Obituary: Stephanie Patricia Margaret Kersey, 64, of Wallingford
Steph was always devoted to her family, friends and pets and had previously worked at Fusion Dance as well as the non-profit Soul Friends.
WALLINFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Stephanie Patricia Margaret Kersey, 64, of Wallingford, beloved wife of Andrew Kersey, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Tuesday May 24, 2022.
Stephanie was born in Haverfordwest, U.K. on July 31, 1957, the daughter of the late Alfred and Valerie (Morse) Clark.
Stephanie found her passion for hairdressing at a young age and started her own business in Wales.
After moving to the U.S. with her husband and sons in 1990 Stephanie continued styling friends and family members hair and later worked at Fusion dance studio and at the non-profit Soul Friends.
When Steph was not spending time with her beloved family and pets, she would be found at the beach, saving injured animals, dancing and singing to her favorite music, painting, or shopping with her friends.
In addition to her husband, Andrew, she is survived by her sons, Lee Kerrison and Jordan Kersey; her daughter, Elisha Perez; her grandson, Grey Kerrison; her granddaughters, Zaylee Kersey and Minka Kerrison; her brothers Gareth Clark and Malcolm Clark; son-in-law Mark Perez; daughter-in-law Alicia Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends as well as her beloved dogs Izzy, Dewy, Luna and Chepe.
Per her wishes, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext.
