Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
Nurse on a Covid-19 Floor at St. Raphael's (Yale)

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She is a young pregnant woman, who on a weekly basis puts the needs of her patients and their families first. She treats every patient as if it were her own family members with the utmost empathy and care. She has stood up for their rights and dignity through out her young career. This pandemic has been a frightening event for most of the world, but these nurses working on the Covid-19 floors are seeing families unable to be with their loved ones during this pandemic, having to be the surrogate family member, in their greatest time of need. They are experiencing fragileness of life now, more than they would see in their entire career. Putting themselves at risk each and every day, someday without the proper equipment to keep themselves healthy.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Her kindness and empathy for others

Thank you Kaitlyn for all that you do!
