Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Joseph E. Gardner, 49, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 29 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and following too close with accident. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 3, according to state judicial records.
Michael J. Cassella, 43, of Branford, was arrested Oct. 30 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 8.

Thomas J. Wojtasik, 57, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of illegal possession of an assault weapon and five counts of illegal possession of high-capacity magazine. He was released after posting a $20,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 10.
Alexander D. Colavito, 22, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and traffic control signals. He was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of Jan. 25.

Anthony R. Gambardella, 30, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 1 on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 4.
Rafael J. Alvarez, 37, of Meriden, was arrested Nov. 1 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 19.
Kemar Budhai, 29, of East Hartford, was arrested Nov. 1 on charges of fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 26.
Eugene M. Carretta, 64, of Westbrook, was arrested Nov. 2 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 29.
Mark C. Depaola, 37, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 2 on a charge of illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 10.
Anthony A. Carangelo, 50, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 2 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and operating unregistered motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 10.
Cameron Essertier, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 3 on a charge of second-degree threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 4.
Michael Cain, 60, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 4 on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 4.
Jeffrey W. Casey, 43, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 4 on a charge of second-degree threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 19.
Callie M. Tart, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested Nov. 4 on a charge of violating standing criminal protective order. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 29, 2024.
Tia A. Gray, 28, of New Haven, was arrested Nov. 4 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Feb. 6.
Justin R. Stone, 36, of New Haven, was arrested Nov. 4 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 6.
