Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Timothy J. Cain, 30, of Wallingford, was arrested July 2 on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon, interfering with officer / resisting, and use of drug paraphernalia. He was additionally arrested on warrants and charged with third-degree assault, third-degree burglary, and sixth-degree larceny. He was released on bonds totaling $25,000 with a court date of Sept. 5, according to state judicial records.

Jacob Pappas, 37, of Meriden, was arrested July 2 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court. A re-arrest order was issued Aug. 15.

Anthony L. Lopez, 32, of Meriden, was arrested July 2 on a charge of first-degree threatening – causing evacuation of building. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 18.

James G. Garvin, 35, of Wallingford, was arrested July 2 on a charge of criminal violation of a civil protective order. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 26.

Jay W. Merrill, 65, of Cheshire, was arrested July 3 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 29.

Daniel R. McMahon, 65, of Wallingford, was arrested July 5 on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 30.

Christopher T. Connors, 46, of Milford, was arrested July 5 on charges of sixth-degree larceny and interfering with officer / resisting. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 6.

Lida D. Pestalozzi-Butt, 58, of Meriden, was arrested July 6 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was being held in lieu of a $2,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 6. She has pleaded not guilty.

Elijah Techer, 29, of Meriden, was arrested July 7 on three counts of use of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent NO NARCO/HAL-SBS, two counts of interfering with officer / resisting, and one count each of operating unregistered motor vehicle, operating without insurance, and improper use – marker / license/ registration. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 10.

Kewin Cocoma, 28, of Meriden, was arrested July 9 on charges of drinking while driving, operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, operating under suspension – alcohol, failure to drive in proper lane, and reckless driving. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 28.

Michael Ciarleglio, 37, of Wallingford, was arrested July 9 on a charge of violating standing criminal protective order. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 21.

Robert W. Ottens, 56, of Wallingford, was arrested July 10 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, failure to drive upon right, operating under suspension, and evading responsibility – injury / property damage. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 4.
