The fourth location in the state of a specialty clothing retailer is charting its opening this year.

WATERFORD, CT — Western retailer Boot Barn is planning to open a Waterford store. A company representative said that the store "is tentatively planned to open in the fall of 2026 at 915 Hartford Turnpike."

The Waterford addition would mark the fourth in the state for the company. Boot Barn currently has locations in Plainville, Manchester, and Milford.

The store will occupy a 9,880-square-foot space next to Dick's Sporting Goods. The spot at Waterford Commons was previously a Party City, The Connecticut Scoop reported.
