Celebrate the Ride of Paul Revere at the Noah Webster House

RIDE WITH PAUL! Exhibit Events with Paul Revere and Artist Monica Vachula

Release submitted by Noah Webster House and West Hartford Historical Society.

Celebrate the ride of Paul Revere and art by Monica Vachula at a multifaceted exhibit opening.
The exhibit will open at the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society (227 South Main St, West Hartford) on Sunday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
Vachula recently illustrated Paul Revere’s Ride (poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow), a beautiful book that will be available for purchase and signing by the artist. Guests will get the chance to meet Paul Revere (portrayed by Mike Lepage) and the artist, as well as ask them both questions.

Decorate your own delectable lantern or horse-shaped sugar cookie for $1 each and have a cool glass of lemonade.

Museum members get the first look at the new exhibit at a special event on Thursday, April 18, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The opening will feature a wine and cheese spread, as well as an opportunity to meet the author, purchase the book, and have it signed.

Sixteen of the original works will be on exhibit at the museum through the summer.

The Noah Webster House is open to the public Thursday-Monday from 1-4 p.m. and free to museum members.
