Paul Walker Dies, West Hartford Meeting Sked, Holiday Stroll

Good morning, West Hartford! Today is Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. There are 29 days left in the year.

Paul Walker died over the weekend in a tragic car crash. While he was most famous for playing Det. Bryan O’Connor in the Fast and the Furious series of movies, I’ll always remember him for playing the super-smug Dean Sampson in She’s All That.

And that’s not a dig on him in the least.

Very sad.

2. The Board of Education meets on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.

3. The Hall High football team plays West Haven in the quarterfinals of the state Class LL football tournament on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Chalmers Stadium.

4. The annual Holiday Stroll will take place on Dec. 5 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
