West Hartford Library Announces Acupuncture Program
The program will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

From West Hartford Library:
Acupuncture has been a staple in traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries, however it remains a mystery to many Americans. Come hear Jill Kleiber, L.AC., of West Hartford Acupuncture clear up some of the misconceptions and to learn why so many people have decided to seek treatment. During this conversation, you’ll hear about the history of the practice, some of the theories behind why it is effective, and what kinds of ailments can be treated. You’ll also be able to ask questions and have them answered by a professional Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.).
This program will be presented by Jill Kleiber, L.AC., of West Hartford Acupuncture. Jill earned a Masters in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) through a rigorous four-year, post-graduate program at the renowned Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin (AOMA), where students study and intern with world-class Chinese doctors. This training encompassed all aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine: nutrition, meditation (qi gong), herbology, and acupuncture.
