West Hartford Limits Recreational Cannabis Sale Locations: Report
The town council voted this week to regulate where in town cannabis establishments can open, We-Ha.com reported.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — This week, the West Hartford town council voted to limit where in town shops selling recreational cannabis can open, We-Ha.com reported.
Per the ordinance the council passed on Tuesday night, cannabis establishments cannot be placed within 500 feet of any school, municipal park, municipal recreational facility or library, according to the news outlet.
The ordinance also restricts retail cannabis sales to the town's typical retail zones and cannabis production/cultivation to the town's industrial zones, reported Ronni Newton of We-Ha.com, who attended the town council meeting.
