West Hartford Man Competing In Food Network Game Show Next Week
Adam Greenberg, who is in the process of opening a restaurant in West Hartford, will be in the Feb. 23 episode of "Guy's Grocery Games."

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Adam Greenberg, a West Hartford native in the process of opening a restaurant in town, is set to appear in the next episode of Food Network's "Guy's Grocery Games," the Hartford Courant reported.
His episode will air on Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. EST, and it's titled "Food Network Champs." He will compete against three other chefs who've won "virtually every Food Network competition," according to the TV station's website.
"But to get to the final round, they must first compete in a pair of one-on-one sudden death matches," the website reads. "The two winners of the dual pork dish battle face off in a final culinary confrontation. The chef who satisfies the random restrictions of the food wheel and makes the best Champion's Dinner will win a guaranteed $15,000 and bragging rights for life!"

Closer to home, Greenberg and his business partner are working on opening their restaurant — which will be called Sparrow, he told the Hartford Courant. They're hoping to open its doors in late March, he said.
Greenberg envisions Sparrow as a cocktail bar that also serves tavern-style pizza, according to the newspaper.
