West Haven Man Injured In Shooting In New Haven: Police

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man was injured in a shooting Monday night in New Haven, according to police.

Police were notified around 8:30 p.m. that a shooting victim walked into Yale-New Haven Hospital at 20 York Street.

The victim, a 22-year-old West Haven man, arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, according to police.

He reported that he was shot in the Fair Haven area of New Haven, but police said investigators were unable to find a crime scene.

Police said that his injuries weren’t life-threatening.
