West Haven Police Hosting Winter Coat Drive

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Police Department is collecting new or lightly used coats for its winter coat drive.

“Have a new or lightly used coat that you don’t wear and don’t know what to do with it?” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Well, the West Haven Police Department is collecting new or lightly used coats for our winter coat drive. WHPD is working with the Dream Center of West Haven to get these items donated to the public. We are also taking new winter hats and gloves for Men, women and children. There will be a box in the lobby of the police department for the coats, hats & gloves. Let’s give to the people who need it most this winter.”
