Car Spotted In Wethersfield Marsh Associated With Missing Woman
A Toyota Corolla found in a Wethersfield marsh is associated with a North Branford woman who has been missing since Friday, police said.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A car found in a Wethersfield marsh earlier today is associated with an 80-year-old woman who has been missing from North Branford since Friday, Wethersfield police said.
At around 12:16 p.m. Tuesday, Wethersfield police were alerted to a car found in a marsh adjacent to Routes 5/15 northbound.
Police identified it as the Toyota Corolla reported missing along with 80-year-old Mary Herbert of North Branford.

Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighters and Connecticut State Police personnel searched the area but did not find Herbert, who is still missing.

Police said the vehicle did not appear to have been involved in a crash.
Herbert is described as a 5-foot-10 white woman with white hair and brown eyes who weighs 140 pounds. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the North Branford Police Department at 203-484-2703.
