DORO Marketplace Pegged For Old Chip's Site In Wethersfield

The small chain already has European-style bakeries in West Hartford and Windsor Locks.

WEST HARTFORD/WETHERSFIELD, CT — A popular, European-style bakery that only opened up in West Hartford in 2020 is now, reportedly, expanding into Wethersfield.

According to the Hartford Business Journal this week and the Hartford Courantat the end of last year, DORO Marketplace is expanding with another bakery/eatery/coffee shop at 1301 Sileas Deane Highway, Wethersfield.

The building that will hose DORO is the former Chip's Family Restaurant in Wethersfield, which closed in June 2022 after the death of the small, local chain's owner.
