FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Town of Wethersfield's Interim Town Manager, Bonnie Therrien, will reinstate the mask mandate as of 5:00 pm for all Town buildings for everyone whether vaccinated or not. We are experiencing some of the highest COVID numbers since the pandemic began with a rash of cases since Thanksgiving. The order shall remain in effect until the Town's infection numbers decrease again.

The Wethersfield Public Schools will remain wearing masks as they have all along as per Governor Lamont's Executive Order.

We would highly recommend that our residents and patrons continue to wear masks, and receive vaccines and booster shots. It is in the best interest of the community's health, safety and the local economy to take all precautions in hopes of mitigating the spread and making every effort to protect our community.
