Wethersfield Among Four Teams Competing In Youth Football Event
Teams from Simsbury, Wethersfield, Southington and Granby will be in action at Simsbury High Sunday.

SIMSBURY, CT — The NFL's Super Bowl LVII may be slated to be played in February in Arizona, but another "Super Bowl-like" event will take place much, much closer to home on Sunday.
Simsbury Youth Football & Cheerleading is hosting three games of championship youth football at Simsbury High School Sunday, starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20.
SHS is located at 34 Farms Village Road and Sunday's big event will feature three youth football championship games.

The action begins at 1 p.m. with Wethersfield taking on Granby in "C team" competition.
Then at 3 p.m., Simsbury will be taking on Wethersfield in "B team" play.
The day's events conclude at 5 p.m., with Simsbury tackling Southington in "A team" level action.
There is no set admission fee, but gate donations are requested.

Meanwhile, the event will feature a 50/50 raffle during each game and $5 shoutouts available for fans.
Food concessions include doughnuts, a food truck and Jersey Mike's subs and Jersey Mike's is also sponsoring cornhole games at the event.
