8/5: Police said they received a complaint from the owner of Hometown Entertainment at 57 Danbury Road. The owner reported that $40,000 in charges was applied to a company credit card from the beginning of April through early August of this year, with the charges coming from California. What did the thief buy? Police noted that expenses for a limo service and flowers were a couple of the stolen services by this high-rolling perp. Police are investigating the incident.
Found Unconscious with Needle

8/3: Police said they received a complaint from a concerned individual who had gone unconscious in the bathroom at a friend’s residence. Upon arrival at the scene, police said they found “a syringe in close proximity” to the person, who has only been identified as a 20-year-old male. The young man was taken to Norwalk Hospital and was apparently not injured, police said. The substance in the syringe was tested positive as an opiate narcotic, according to police. Police are investigating the matter but no charges have been filed yet.

8/5: Police responded to a complaint of a possible assault at Wilton Meadows. Upon investigation, police said that one of the residents alleged that a cut on this person’s lip had been done by a nursing assistant. However, police said they also found that it was possible the individual had done it to his/her own self: the person is “known to bite down on his/her own lip there,” said police. Police stated they found no evidence to indicate that the mark was intentionally done by the staff member.

8/2: Four mailboxes were damaged around Weeburn Lane.
8/8: Police received a complaint of rocks having been thrown through the back window of an office building on 11 River Road.
Possible Stolen Generator Batteries
8/4: Cannondale Generators (CG), located at 390 Danbury Road, reported possible stolen batteries, police said. CG uses “unique batteries to fit their generator” and this same type of battery was found at a scrap metal dealer in Bridgeport, police said. Police are investigating the incident.
