Anti-Semitic Remarks Written On Note In Wilton School Locker

School officials are investigating the third instance of anti-Semitic behavior at the school this month.

WILTON, CT — The Middlebrook School is now investigating its third instance of anti-Semitic behavior this month after a Jewish sixth grade student found a note with a hateful message in their locker. Superintendent Kevin Smith informed parents Thursday that a note with the words "Jews Will Burn" was found in the student's locker.

Smith told parents that Principal Lauren Feltz spoke to sixth grade yellow team members and addressed them.

"Please know that I am distraught by these instances of hate," Smith wrote in his letter to parents."Our schools are beacons of light in this community and this kind of speech reflects the very worst of humanity – they have no place in our schools and in our community."
