Bridgeport Man Nabbed for Driving Charges

Wilton Police pulled him over for having the wrong plates on the vehicle he was driving.

A 39-year-old Bridgeport man was hit with a variety of charges after officers realized the license plate on his Ford Explorer belonged to a different vehicle.

At 3:49 p.m. on March 1, officers stopped Donald Gallimore on Cheese Spring Road, near Drum Hill Road, because he was using the wrong plate, which had expired in June 2012. In addition to being charged with misuse of plates, Gallimore was also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance and driving without a license.

He was held on $475 bond and given a March 11 court date.
