Bridgeport Woman Arrested for Residential Thefts in 2012

A Bridgeport woman was arrested by warrant last Wednesday for allegedly stealing property from two Wilton homes last year while assisting a housekeeper.

Police say Lucero Cabrera stole an Apple iPod worth $199 from a Stonecrop Lane home in June; and $200 cash from a Weeburn Lane home in August.

Fairfield Police stopped Cabrera on a motor vehicle violation, which is when officers learned Wilton Police held a warrant for her arrest.

Cabrera, 28, of 100 Scofield Ave., was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. She was held on $250 bond and given a court date of June 21.
