After showing Patch how to make a guava margarita, Matt Lyon, the 21-year-old bartender at Cactus Rose Restaurant and Tequila Bar, recommended a few drinks for entertaining guests in the heat.
"Sangria is really good for summer," Lyon said, adding that mojitos make a refreshing beverage, too.
He also gave a few tips on making margaritas at home.
Lyon said any margarita mix, triple sec and tequila from a grocery store or a liquor store will make a tasty margarita. If you want extra flavor, he suggested muddling up fruits such as strawberries to add in.
Lyons also had one final tip.
"Don't forget the ice," he said.
