Dave Loda of Bolton, captain of the 6th Connecticut Regiment, gave a gun demonstration and taught history at a Fourth of July party at Wayne and Lynda Pasquarella's Shelton home Saturday.
The regiment, which includes infantrymen and Native Americans from the Revolutionary War era, marches in the Shelton-Derby Day parade and performs reenactments in Boston, New York and Connecticut.
