Daisy the Pig Visits the Wilton Library [Video]

Daisy, the "world-famous" pig, and his owner Farmer Minor came to the Wilton Library for the first time in about three years to promote literacy.

These two are gluttons for reading.

Last Thursday, for the first  in two or three years ago by Farmer Minor’s account, Daisy the Pig visited the Wilton Library to present their unique “Pig out on Reading” program.

Minor and Daisy the Pig travel the continental US spreading snort-filled joy while promoting reading to children, adults and seniors. Armed with a rocking chair, an arsenal of pig-themed books, and of course, the Vietnamese pot-bellied pig Daisy, young children pick a book to be read to the gentle –and quite big—pig. Minor also tells stories and cracks hog jokes for additional entertainment.
