Erratic Driver Fails Two Breath Tests – 2nd Higher Than 1st

On Dec. 20, Bryan Nelson, 47, of 995 Capital Ave. in Bridgeport was observed driving a 1994 Olds Cutlass erratically while traveling northbound on Rt 7. According to Wilton Police the Nelson continued to driver erratically until stopped on Rt 33. After failing field sobriety tests, Nelson was taken into custody, where he subsequently failed two breath tests, the first at .182 BAC and the second, which was higher, at .190.

Nelson was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in the Proper lane. He was issued a misdemeanor summons, released on a Promise to Appear and assigned a court date of Jan. 2 2014 at Norwalk Superior Court.
