Police: Man Skipped Out on $109 Cab Fare in Wilton
The man ran away after saying he was going to the ATM.

A man skipped out on a $109 cab fare late Sunday night.
According to police, a cab driver flagged down an officer on patrol at 11:55 p.m. on March 10 because a man didn't pay his fare from New Haven train station.
The suspect was described as a white man between 30- and 40-years-old, 5’10’’ and medium built. The cabbie told police the suspect said he was going to an ATM at 4 Danbury Road to get money to pay his fare and took off running.

The area was searched but the man couldn’t be located.

Four tires of a Suzuki SX4 which was parked alongside Hillcrest Road were slashed on March 10.
According to police, sometime between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on March 9 someone allegedly took a knife and slashed the tires, which each cost about $115.
