New Details On Teen's Joyride In Wilton: Report
A teenager stole a truck from a local business and led police on a high speed chase in Wilton last week.

WILTON, CT — Danbury police say a truck stolen by a Ridgefield teenager, 17, was involved in a hit-and-run crash in the city before it was stopped by Wilton police, reports The Hour. Danbury police say the Chevy Silverado with an Andy Stewart Landscaping Design logo led officers on a chase that was called off because of its high speeds.
While police went to the parking lot of the landscaping business to investigate, they got a report of a hit-and-run crash in Wilton on Danbury road later that morning.
Police used spike strips to stop the teenager in the stolen car on Danbury Road and the teenager was uninjured. Tools at the business were also damaged in the process of stealing the car.
