WILTON, CT — Residents of a certain age may remember the self-proclaimed "Hottest Band in the World: KISS!" from their blood-spitting heyday, others from their mid-90s nostalgia-fueled renaissance. But we're betting that most Wiltonians did not know that the original line-up's "Spaceman," guitarist Ace Frehley, once lived among them.

Wilder still, Frehley's former Wilton home is now available to rent on Airbnb. Cross over a stone bridge, stroll up the circular driveway with garden pond and waterfall, and for $767 night, you can vacation in a more glamorous time. Property records indicate, the home was last sold for $1,107,500 in 2016.

According to the listing, the home is situated across from a 70 acre private farm with accessible hiking trails, making The Spaceman's estate "a perfect escape."

"When KISS wasn't on the road or recording an album, I liked to retreat to Wilton and just hang out with my friends," Frehley wrote in his autobiography, "No Regrets: A Rock 'N' Roll Memoir."

The 6,400 square foot, 4-bedroom home is more than just a shrine to KISS, it's filled with all manner of musical memorabilia, including Beatles gold singles, a Rob Zombie throne and a wall of rock musician mugshots in the gym.

"If you like selfies? Prepare yourself for an opportunity in every room," one online reviewer gushed.

The home holds a special treat for the professional, or hobbyist, musician.

"The very best thing about the Wilton estate was the recording studio I built right next to the house," Frehley wrote. "It was unique and could be accessed either from the outside through a wall of glass, brick, and an eighteen-foot solid oak door, or through the basement of the house."

Frehley describes the studio as "all pretty much state-of-the-art at the time," and the listing invites lodgers to "Come record in the restored studio, if you'd like."

Even if you've no interest in pumping out your own "Love Gun," there's still plenty about Frehley's former estate to head bang about. "The amenities were Lux, amazing showers, entertaining dining room with giant kitchen, climate control per room, indoor hot tub (near to the stage), gorgeous furniture, and tons and tons of space," one online reviewer raved.
