9/29: An ex-girlfriend attempted to get in contact with her once-lover by trying to contact at his parent’s house on Snowberry Lane, where the man had been staying, according to police. The unidentified ex-boyfriend, 35, and his family apparently told the unidentified ex-girlfriend, 30, to leave the property in the car she drove in with; when she did not, the police were contacted, but no arrests were made.

9/29: A profanity-laden, high-tempered exchange between a boss, an employee and the employee’s sister broke out at Halloween City after the boss apparently tried to “discipline” the employee for some unidentified misbehavior, according to the police. The boss, a 49-year-old male, and his employee, a 35 year-old female first got into a dispute over whatever the scolding may have been about, but the employee then allegedly called her sister to come back her up, for unspecified reasons, according to police. The employer called the police, and also asked the sister not to come back, police said. The matter will apparently be resolved in-house, and no charges were filed or arrests made.

10/1: An out-of-state customer for Storage Deluxe filed a complaint of a missing item from the complainant’s storage area, according to police. Reportedly, the customer had moved his or her storage items to a different storage unit some time ago after finding “a sticky substance” on some of the items, according to police. The person alleged that he or she had placed a particular item a certain way in the storage unit—to see if any invaders would disturb the item coming in or out—and that this item was now missing. Police said that the complainant said one other person had an access key to the unit.
Unlocked YMCA lockers lead to thefts
10/3: A total of five teenage males, all part of an unidentified swim team, reported that about $65 in cash and three iPhones (valued at $800 each) had been stolen from them via unlocked lockers at the Wilton YMCA, according to police reports. Four of the thefts occurred on 10/3 between 3:15 and 5:30 p.m., while one of the thefts is reported to have occurred on 9/30 during the same time frame, police said.
Oh, f--, my sign!
10/01: A real estate sign posted in front of a for-sale property was vandalized with the ‘f-word’ spray painted over it. The sign, located on Springbrook Lane, is valued at $100, according to police reports.

9/29: Two cars had their side view mirrors broken while they were parked overnight on Fullin Lane. The officer investigating the incident said that it bore no likeness to the at the beginning of the summer (the same officer investigated the pesky pecker incident).
Intent to Sell, DUIs
10/2: A 19-year-old male, identified as Evin Buros, 19, of Norwalk, was pulled over after what reports say was a “routine motor vehicle stop.” Police said they found cocaine and marijuana on the accused, and that the illegal substances were packaged in baggies. Police als found alcohol in the car, and charged the accused with possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell and possession of alcohol by a minor, failure to signal, no front plates, and no sticker for the accused’s tinted windows, which were presumably darker than legally allowed without a permit.
10/1: Police pulled over a vehicle after receiving a complaint of a “possibly intoxicated driver” whose vehicle apparently matched the description reported. Officers said they smelled alcohol “emanating from the operator” and conducted a sobriety test, which the driver, identified as Mary Clow, 56, of Bridgeport, failed. She was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court.
9/29: A car veered off the side of the road near the intersection of Grumman Hill and Rte. 7, smashing into a boulder, causing left side and front end damage, according to police. After investigating the incident, police said they found the driver, Amanda Gerpe, 23, of Wilton, to be intoxicated. There were no injuries reported. Police charged Gerpe with DUI, travelling too fast, and driving without insurance. Police released Gerpe with a promise to appear in court.
