Tea Business in Wilton Closes Its Doors: Report

WILTON, CT — CultureTea located in the Wilton Town Center closed its doors for good Thursday, reports the Hour. Alex Hingle and wife Shu-Chuan Chen closed the business after an unsuccessful year.

The couple told The Hour that they never earned a profit from the business and lost a couple thousand dollars every month. They also were forced to gradually reduce their staff.

The business opened in August.
