Wilton Officer to Testify In Civil Case Against Town, Fellow Officer: Report
He is one of two to be subpoenaed to testify in court.

WILTON, CT — A local police officer has been subpoenaed to testify in a civil court case against the town, police department and a fellow officer, reports the Wilton Bulletin. In the case of Sommers, Jeffrey v. [Kluk], Robert et al, Sommers alleges that he was wrongly given a traffic ticket following a road rage incident in 2015.
Officer Douglas Parsons is one of two who have been subpoenaed to testify in the case in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 23. Somers alleged the biker operated in an "illegal manner," made "threatening and abusive remarks," and "Intentionally intruded into the flow of traffic to threaten and intimidate."
He also alleged the cyclist made a complaint with Wilton Police, and after he was interviewed over the phone, Parsons issued him a traffic ticket.
