Wilton Police Report Criminal Trespass, Breach Of Peace Incident
Wilton police detail an incident involving criminal trespass and breach of peace on Silver Spring Road.
WILTON, CT — Wilton Police Department reported that officers responded to a complaint of a trespasser at a Wilton residence on the evening of Jan. 8.
Police said officers were dispatched to a home in town at about 9:15 p.m. While heading to the location, officers observed a white Subaru traveling on Vista Road near Ridgefield Road that matched the description associated with the call. The vehicle was stopped a short distance from the reported location.
Police identified the driver as Daniel Philip Alswanger, 26, of Fairfield. According to the report, officers later transported him to police headquarters for processing.

Alswanger was issued charges including first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace under Connecticut General Statutes. A bond of $5,000 was set, and police said a 7 percent bond was posted.
The incident occurred on Silver Spring Road in Wilton.

Police said Alswanger is scheduled to appear Jan. 20 in Stamford Superior Court.
