Wilton Road Among 'Most Coveted' Addresses In U.S.: New Report
A Wilton road "lined with beautiful, custom-built homes on large, wooded lots" made the Top 10 on a new list of prized U.S. neighborhoods
WILTON, CT — A road in Wilton has been named among the "most coveted" addresses in the U.S. by a real estate industry trade website.
Agent Advice commissioned a survey of 3,000 respondents to create its "definitive" list of the top 140 "aspirational streets" in America. These are the avenues "where daydreams are set and where a mailbox can signify one has truly 'arrived'," according to the real estate analysts.
Nod Hill Road in Wilton "is lined with beautiful, custom-built homes on large, wooded lots," according to the survey. Analysts were also impressed by the town's "excellent public schools, community amenities, and rural charm," all of which contributed to making Wilton "a highly desirable location for luxury living."

Fusing "New England charm with upscale living," West Lane in Ridgefield came in at No. 80. The road benefits from its proximity to the town's arts scene, as well as the "historic estates, modern mansions, and large, private properties" that line the roadway.
Meadow Lane in Westport came in at No. 105. Agent Advice described the road as one of Westport's "most exclusive streets," a condition helped by the town's "vibrant downtown and beautiful beaches."
Finally, the real estate gurus sung the praises of Sasco Hill Road in Fairfield, which it placed at No. 137 on its list of 140 entries. The street is "among the most prestigious addresses in Fairfield, offering waterfront luxury and tranquility," according to Agent Advice.
Why bother commissioning the study? The website's editors say that selling a property on one of the "elite roads" represents the pinnacle of the real estate agent's profession.
At the very top of the list was Casey Key Road in Nokomis, Florida, nestled on a barrier island just south of Sarasota. It's tough to argue with this choice, unless you're not a fan of unspoiled tropical scenery, private beaches and architecture ranging from Spanish Mediterranean to Modern. Thinking of making the move? Land prices range from $795,000 to $6.9 million, according to Agent Advice, and available lots are "limited."
