Woman Arrested For DUI In Wilton: Police

A woman was arrested in the Georgetown area of Wilton for driving under the influence, according to police.

WILTON, CT — A Weston woman was arrested for driving under the influence in Wilton Friday afternoon, according to police. Shannon Waldis, 46, was taken into custody after refusing a blood alcohol content test at 4 p.m. on Church Street near School Street.

Police say they responded to the area due to a motor vehicle complaint, and arrested Waldis after determining she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

She was charged with driving under the influence and issued a $260 bond. She is due in court on Oct. 16.
