Amtrak Suspends Service from New York to Boston 'Indefinitely' As Manhunt Continues

The rail service stops in several locations in Connecticut, including Windsor.


Amtrak rail service has been suspended indefinitely between Boston and New York as authorities continue the search for bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The trains are currently operating, however, between Washington DC and New York, Amtrak tweeted Friday.

Amtrak has a rail stop that goes through central Connecticut into Massachusetts, with a stop in Windsor..

Police are still conducting a massive manhunt of Tsarnaev, a 19-year-old Massachusetts resident wanted in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing on Monday.
