Fugitive From Windsor Arrested, Accused Of Assaulting Agawam Cop
The man is being held on bonds totaling more than a million dollars, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A surveillance operation by police near a large apartment complex Wednesday night resulted in the arrest of a Windsor man wanted in Massachusetts for dragging a police officer who had prevented him from reaching for a gun.
Officers conducting surveillance near Bigelow Commons witnessed a narcotics transaction involving a black Acura. An officer stopped the car at the nearby CVS store on Enfield Street, and a man was found to have an extraditable warrant out of Agawam in the police assault case, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
Police seized 200 bags of fentanyl, 9.1 grams of powder cocaine and 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, Fox said.

Alonzo Hamilton, 29, was charged with being a fugitive from justice and several narcotics charges. He is being held in lieu of bonds totaling $1.015 million, Fox said.
During Hamilton's arrest, a woman in the car was also taken into custody on narcotics charges. Aja Blunt-Jones, 27, of Manchester, was held on a $15,000 bond, Fox said.
