Picture Windsor - Then And Now
An old photograph and brief story from Windsor's past, and how that site appears today.

WINDSOR, CT — This periodic informal series on Windsor Patch highlights businesses from the town's past and what those locations look like today.
The Windsor Historical Society has compiled digitized versions of the Windsor High School yearbook, Tunxis, dating back to 1951. Today's offering takes us back 45 years, to page 171 of the 1979 edition.
Founded in the mid-1970s by Windsor High School graduate Diana Macari and her son Raymond, Diana's Bakery began as a small shop at 41-43 Poquonock Avenue in Windsor Center. As the business grew, she opened stores in Enfield and Manchester, and her other sons joined the company. Along with the retail store, they expanded their baking operations and began selling wholesale goods to other stores, schools, hospitals and companies throughout the area.
